SonRank is an independent audio review site that takes a data-driven approach to recommendations. Instead of relying on a single reviewer's opinion, we aggregate data from three distinct sources to create our proprietary TITAN Score.

We pull professional critic scores from Criticaster, which aggregates reviews from 2,989 publications including CNET, TechRadar, Tom's Guide, and Wirecutter. We analyze real user sentiment from Reddit communities where people share honest, unfiltered opinions. And we factor in Amazon ratings and review volume from verified purchases.

The result is a single 0-100 score that reflects what both experts and real users think about a product. No single source tells the whole story. Critics can miss real-world issues, Reddit can amplify niche complaints, and Amazon ratings can be manipulated. By combining all three, we filter out the noise.

Why We Built This

We got tired of reading 15 different reviews before buying earbuds. Professional reviews are thorough but sometimes feel detached from real daily use. Reddit threads are honest but scattered across dozens of subreddits. Amazon reviews are massive in volume but hard to parse.
